Briefly about me

Dear visitor,

thank you for your interest.

I am standing as a candidate for the EU elections in May 2019. I am included as a candidate on the list of the Finns Party (Perussuomalaiset).

I have been a member of the Finns Party since 2013. I joined politics because I think we own a lot to past generations, those who fought for Finland and constructed this country.

For me, Finland, our Finnish language and the interest of Finland are in the forefront. We need to stop the “ever closer union” and the so called “EU project” which is leading to the “United States of Europe”.

I want to be clear: I do not support the membership of Finland in the European union or in the eurozone.

Due to our geopolitical location, is not in our interest to be a member of the EU or to advocate for more Brussels ruled and federalized EU run by unelected bureaucrats and dodgy lobbyists.

I currently work for the Finns Party in the European Parliament (EP) in Brussels. Before joining the EP, I have worked for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. I did my Abitur (German A-levels) at the German School of Paris in 2001. I hold a M.Sc. in Economics (major: Economic Geography) from the Turku School of Economics, Finland.

I did my mandatory military service (2001-2002) in the Finnish Border Guard.
